The Arctic is where we’ve spent years of our lives and some of our best days. From the landscapes to the people, it’s a place that leaves a mark. Arctic Brew Co was born out of those experiences – our way of keeping the Arctic close and sharing its impact with others.
Real Moments, Real Experiences
The Arctic is full of experiences you don’t forget. The first time we tried fried cod tongues. Picking sea urchins straight from the rocks, fishing for skrei (migrating Arctic cod), or going on a multetur – a hike to gather golden cloudberries (often called “Arctic gold”). Watching minke whales pass by from the shore and hearing the sharp cries of kittiwakes during the endless light of Arctic summer nights.
We shared kokekaffe – coffee boiled over an open fire – with friends, paired with lefse, a soft, buttery flatbread served warm off the griddle. Pulled on wool sweaters, hand-knitted to last through Arctic winters. And sailed in a fembøring, a traditional wooden boat, steeped in the history of Arctic coastal life.
